ExpertNet™ Lite Assessment Tool (ELAT) is a software application that verifies if a customer's network is ready for Voice Over IP (VoIP). ELAT simulates VoIP calls in the customer's network and gathers Quality of Service (QoS) measurements and Network Voice Quality (NVQ) for those calls. ELAT typically runs and collects data from testing for about a week. After gathering the QoS measurements, ELAT generates a report that shows whether the network is suitable for VoIP.
